At the end of 2018, Ignitis Gamyba updated its operational strategy (hereinafter – the Strategy), based on the directions and guidelines established in Ignitis Group’s strategy LE 2030. The Company's Strategy 2019-2030 defines long-term business guidelines, vision, goals and performance indicators for the implementation of the Strategy.
In line with the Strategy, a three-year operational plan of the company is prepared, providing short-term and long-term measures necessary to implement the Strategy.
It is laid down in the new Strategy of Ignitis Gamyba that the principal activity of the company, driving further growth of the entire Group is strategic generation – maintaining, modernizing and developing reliable local power-generation capabilities. By implementing its key activity, Ignitis Gamyba seeks to fully contribute to the synchronization of the Baltic States with the Continental European grid system in 2025.
The Strategy highlights that Ignitis Gamyba will also seek to contribute to the implementation of LE 2030 strategy by developing green generation capabilities and energy innovations.
The company intends to participate in the development of Group's green generation capacity not only by using the existing hydro-power capabilities, but also by supplying the market with high-quality maintenance services for RES facilities. Moreover, Ignitis Gamyba has already started implementing solar-power and energy storage pilot projects – they will help the company to develop its current infrastructure.
